We need you! 

 

We are working on nominations for the 2026-2027 PTA Board and committees, and we need your help. Take a look at the following position descriptions and follow the link to the interest form if you would like to volunteer. There are options for all levels of commitments!
  • President: leads all PTA meetings, meets with school admin, and attends district PTA meetings
  • 1st VP, Aide to President: supports the President and attends all PTA meetings
  • 2nd VP, Programs: organizes school events and attends all PTA meetings
  • 3rd VP, Membership: organizes PTA membership with Texas PTA and attends all PTA meetings
  • 4th VP, Fundraising: organizes fundraising opportunities and attends all PTA meetings
  • Secretary: organizes meeting notes and attends all PTA meetings
  • Treasurer: manages the PTA budget and attends all PTA meetings
  • Parliamentarian: ensures the PTA follows state and national guidelines and attends all PTA meetings
  • Book Fair: organizes two book fairs per school year and attends all PTA meetings
  • Staff Appreciation: organizes staff lunches, organizes pop up events, organizes staff appreciation week, and attends all PTA meetings
  • Sixth Grade Coordinator: organizes fundraising for graduation, organizes the graduation ceremony, and attends all PTA meetings
  • Council Delegate: attends AISD Council PTA meetings and all PTA meetings
  • Room Parent Coordinator: acts as a liaison between room parents and school admin and attends all PTA meetings
  • Communications: communicates PTA news through school newsletter and PTA social media
  • Volunteers: organizes volunteer needs for PTA
  • Citizenship: provides refreshments for Otterfiic Otter ceremonies
  • Healthy Lifestyles: organizes healthy living opportunities for the school
  • Hospitality: organizes refreshments for school and PTA events
  • Reflections: promotes National PTA Reflections program in the fall
  • Watch DOGS: coordinates the Watch DOGS program with Mrs. Oliver
