David and Linda Olson Elementary PTA Bylaws & Standing Rules

To maintain good standing with Texas PTA, all local PTAs must update or amend their Bylaws and Standing Rules with Texas PTA at least once every three years.

 

Bylaws outline how our PTA functions, define its primary characteristics, and include all the governing details considered important to the rights and responsibilities of members. 

Bylaws - effective August 1, 2023

 

Standing Rules contain details about the day-to-day operations of our PTA.

The Bylaws and Standing Rules Committee proposes 1 update to the Bylaws around the dues and 2 updates to the Standing Rules which removes the coordinator roles of Marquee, Newsletter, Website and creates a new Standing Committee role of Communications that is a combo of those previous roles.
